NPC dominates Tarlac polls from gov to board members

The Nationalist People’s Coalition (NPC) dominated local polls in Tarlac province on Election Day led by unopposed Tarlac Governor Susan Yap.
Her running mate Vice Governor Carlito “Casada” David and nine out of 10 members of the provincial board also won their respective races.
Yap was proclaimed on May 10 after receiving a total of 600,355 votes while David won via landslide when he got a total vote of 443,335 as against the 170,253 votes of his lone opposition, Promdi’s former Vice Governor Marcelino “Bogs” Aganon Jr.
David’s voter preference percentage stood at 72.25 percent while Aganon obtained 27.74 percent of the total vote cast for the second highest position in the province.
“Sa ating mga kababayan, maraming salamat po sa inyong tiwala na ibinigay sa aking pangatlo at huling termino. Makaka-asa po kayo, tulad ng lagi po nating sinasabi, susuklian po naming ng tamang serbisyo at serbisyong ma-Yap. Maraming salamat po ulit,” David said.
