Noveras wants veggies in food packs for distribution, not just canned goods, noodles
Acting Aurora Gov. Christian Noveras met with his fellow local officials on Monday to discuss measures in the provincial government’s response to the Covid-19 pandemic.
During the meeting, the acting governor said the food packs being distributed to residents affected by the Luzon-wide enhanced community quarantine should include vegetable products.
This is so that the residents will not get sick of eating only canned goods and noodles, Noveras told his fellow executives.
“Bukod sa masustansya ay mapapaigting pa nito ang pagtangkilik sa mga produktong gulay ng mga magsasaka ng Aurora,” according to a press statement.
Besides the food packs, Noveras also requested additional funds for medicines to be distributed to Aurora residents, especially senior citizens.
The governor thanked the various provincial departments for their contributions in dealing with the coronavirus crisis.
