Norzagaray Mayor Cristobal hopes to raise more funds for elderlies’ pensions
Mayor Geronimo Cristobal, Jr. of Norzagaray, Bulacan seeks to gather more funds for the “local social pension” of his ‘Senior Citizen’ constituents.
He said this Friday on his Facebook account as he shared that his administration was able to give pension again to less fortunate elderlies in Norzagaray.
Cristobal, who will seek reelection next year, has been giving out P3,000 in social pension to his elderly constituents during the last two years.
The last distribution, he said, benefited 300 senior citizens from Barangays Baraka, Bangkal, Pinagtulayan, San Lorenzo, and Bitungol.
Another set of beneficiaries in other barangays are scheduled to receive starting Monday, Cristobal added.(END)
