Soldiers of the Armed Forces of the Philippines’ Northern Luzon Command spread holiday cheer by distributing meals to people in Tarlac City.
Children, homeless individuals and workers thanked the troops for the food distribution program, which was part of their “continuous selfless service towards their countrymen.”
The Nolcom was accompanied by the 1st Civil Relations Group of the Civil Relations Service of the AFP and the Regional Emergency Assistance Communication Team-Region 3.
As peacemakers, the 1st Civil Relations Group, guided by its battle cry “Strengthening Partnerships, Changing Lives,” encouraged others to participate in similar charitable works.
The 1st Civil Relations Group said it “wishes to provide gifts to the homeless to enable them to somehow feel the spirit of Christmas,” according to a Sun Star Pampanga report.
