New Clark City opens its doors to repatriated Filipinos from China
The New Clark City is in lockdown.
Last February 6, PIA-Taralc announced that the New Clark City will be closed until further notice to accommodate repatriated kababayans from China. They will be undergoing a mandatory 14-day quarantine period at the Athletes’ Village in New Clark City.
“All preventive and precautionary measures are being put in place for our repatriated kababayans, as well as the entire area of New Clark City and its adjacent communities,” officials said in a statement.
The nCov virus was detected late December of last year in Wuhan, China and has since affected thousands of patients across the globe.
