Nat’l conference on food technology, environment held in Bataan
Different innovations were showcased at the recently concluded 1st National Conference on Food, Environment, Engineering and Technology, held at Bataan Peninsula State University.
Former Environment Secretary and ABS-CBN Foundation president Gina Lopez and representatives from different sections of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) served as resource persons due to their solid track record and achievement in their respective fields.
Vice Governor Cris Garcia, Bataan Rep. Geraldine Roman, and Councilor Jovic Baluyot also graced the event.
The conference highlighted papers of participants from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. Thematic areas for the presentations include food, environment, engineering, and technology.
BPSU President Dr. Greg Rodis lauded the technical working group behind the national conference that included BPSU Vice President for Research, Extension, and Training Services Dr. Rudy Flores and BPSU Research Development Director Dr. Hermogenes Paguia.
The national conference was facilitated by the BPSU Research Development Office, in partnership with the Philippine Association of Agriculturists-Central Luzon Chapter.
