Naputulan ng kuryente o tubig? Roman assures district of reprieve on power, water bills

Bataan Rep. Geraldine Roman on Tuesday assured her constituents in the first district that they would enjoy a temporary reprieve from payment of public utility services, particularly electricity and water.

“Alinsunod sa Executive Order ng Pangulong Rodrigo Roa Duterte kagabi, sa buong Pilipinas po ay mayroon pong reprieve sa pagbabayad ng public utility services katulad ng kuryente at tubig simula ngayong araw hanggang April 13,” she said on her official Facebook account.

Roman advised those who had their power or water lines cut to reach out to their service providers to get reconnected.

“Kung naputulan po kayo ng linya ng kuryente at napilitang magbayad ngayong araw, maaari po kayong magtungo sa pinakamalapit na PENELCO (Peninsula Electric Cooperative Inc.) Office upang makahingi ng reconnection o karampatang refund na walang surcharges,” she said.

“Dalhin po ninyo ang resibo ninyo na nagpapatunay na nagbayad kayo ngayong araw na ito, ika-17 ng Marso,” Roman said.

“Nagkausap na po kami ni GM Loreto Marcelino at sinabi po niya na susunod po ang PENELCO sa nasabing Executive Order. Hindi po magpuputol ng linya ng kuryente ang PENELCO. Maraming salamat po,” she said.
