N. Ecija Cong Vergara expands educational aid coverage
Nueva Ecija 3rd District Representative Rosanna “Ria” Vergara has expanded the coverage of her educational assistance program as it entered its third year this year.
The lady politiko said on her Facebook account that the beneficiaries of her “Kalinga sa Kabataan” program has grown to 3,000 for this year, from 1,000 when it started in 2016.
“Ang programang ito na nagbibigay tulong sa mga estudyante sa pamamagitan ng educational assistance ay mula sa personal na pondo ni Representative Vergara,” her Facebook post last Saturday said.
“Bahagi ito ng selebrasyon ng kanyang kaarawan na nakaugalian na taon-taon,” it added.
On Saturday, student-beneficiaries from Cabanatuan City and the municipalities of General Mamerto Natividad and Sta. Rosa were able to receive their assistance.
Other beneficiaries from the towns of Gabaldon, Laur, Bongabon and Palayan City will receive theirs today, Nov. 5.
Last year, the number of student beneficiaries was 2,000.
