Mexico unveils dialysis center
Mayor Teddy Tumang led Thursday the inauguration of the new and state of the art Hemo Dialysis Facility in Mexico, Pampanga.
Tumang said the dialysis center aims to accommodate and provide dialysis treatment to all the people of Mexico, neighboring cities, municipalities and provinces who are in need of the said treatment.
He said for the Mexico residents, the treatment, including the dialyzer to be used during treatment sessions is free, except for the injectible medicine which costs P300.00.
For non-residents of the town, the treatment is for free, except for the dialyzer which will be paid for P650, half of its original price of P1,300, plus the 300.00 for the injectible medicine, he said.
The 24-unit hemodialysis facility has been envisioned under the leadership of Tumang, together with the Sangguniang Bayan of Mexico, SM Prime Holdings Inc., Department of Health Regional Office III, Philippine Health Insurance Corp., and other public and private partners.
