Mayor Santiago of San Fernando City, Pampanga continues barangay engagements
Mayor Edwin Santiago of San Fernando City, Pampanga proceeded with his barangay engagements after he has filed his reelection bid for the May 2019 polls.
Sanitago led local government officials in extending social services Friday in the city’s Barangay San Agustin.
The activity is dubbed, “Kapihan at Talakayan sa Barangay.”
Residents were able to avail of free medical and dental check-up and pampering services like hot oil application, hair coloring, manicure, haircut and massage.
The event also included registration to get identification cards for solo parents, senior citizens and persons with disabilities, as well to avail of the Fernandino access card.
College and senior high school students applied for scholarship assistance, while animals received anti-rabies vaccines.
Aside from distribution of seedlings, an information, education and communication campaign on the environment was conducted.
Photos shared on Facebook by the City Information Office of San Fernando showed Santiago handing out school supplies to young students.
The information office said the next event, also called EdSA Barangay Day, is expected to be held on Oct. 26, 2018 in Barangay Sindalan.
