Mayor Santiago distributes reusable water bottles to San Fernando City hall staff
City government of San Fernando, Pampanga led by Mayor Edwin Santiago has intensified its campaign against the use of plastics.
Santiago recently led the distribution of reusable water bottles to all the city employees.
The transparent tumblers were given free.
The local government said the provision of reusable water bottles is part of the continuous efforts towards a “Zero Waste City.”
It urged the employees to use the reusable bottles in their respective offices and during meetings as the local government will no longer be providing pet bottled water.
