Mayor Salvador asks San Jose City youths to join in summer sports clinic
Mayor Kokoy Salvador of San Jose City, Nueva Ecija has urged the youth to continue to participate in the ongoing summer sports clinic.
The local chief executive said that the 2nd and 3rd batch swimming lesson will take place on May 28.
The Sports Development Office and the city government, which have been spearheading the sports activities, have concluded the 1st batch for free swimming clinic, as well as basketball clinic, on May 16.
Some 150 young people also participated in the lawn tennis, table tennis and karatedo lessons, which opened on May 21.
The summer sports clinic will end on the first week of June.
The program aims to develop the skills of the San Jose City’s youths on different sports while they are enjoying, Salvador said.
