Concepcion, Tarlac Mayor Andy Lacson gave a plaque of recognition to Eutiquio Parena Jr, who had rescued a 5-year-old boy from drowning in San Rafael, Bamban, Tarlac.

The politiko said Pareno’s heroism shows how the latter is ready to help his neighbor at any time. He said it also shows the importance of knowing how to administer first-aid in rescue operations.
