Mayor Kokoy Salvador: Stop spreading fake news!

Mar 15, 2020 @ 1:43

What do people benefit from fake news?

San Jose City Nueva Ecija Mayor Kokoy Salvador asked in his Facebook post out of exasperation. He cannot understand why instead of helping one another and being vigilant in this crisis, people still choose to spread fear. The mayor cleared that the official government letter saying that San Jose City will be in complete lockdown is fake news. It’s not true that the city will be implementing a 14-day quarantine period and that there will be a strict “no work, no pay” for LGU employees.

Once and for all, Mayor Kokoy Salvador said this is fake news.
