Mayor Del Rosario eyes economic boom in Bagac via leisure facilities development
Bagac Mayor Louise del Rosario has high hopes that opening the municipality to real estate and property investment will set off an economic boom in the beach town.
The Bataan politiko’s developmental strategy for the municipality would enable an influx of commercial establishments and leisure-type resorts.
This would then bring in more migrating workers and eventually more visitors to Bagac.
Bagac Municipal Administrator Nick Ancheta said the municipal government will ensure the coastal town can accommodate the large number of expected job applicants and their families with adequate housing facilities.
The full blast construction of a Special Economic Zone (SEZ) near the boundary of Mariveles and Bagac is expected to generate thousands of job opportunities for residents and non-residents.
