Mayor Del Rosario bats for conversion of 2,000 hectares of land into industrial, tourism sites
Bagac Mayor Louise del Rosario is pushing to convert around 2,000 hectares of land in three coastal villages into industrial and ecological tourism sites.
The Bataan politiko said Bagac should further boost its status as a leading tourism hub by developing Barangay Quinawan, Binuagan, and Paisawan.
Del Rosario said the municipal government should put up labor-intensive livelihood projects for the villages.
He earlier allocated P1.6 million to develop a tourism masterplan for Bagac.
The masterplan would provide a study on the tourist attractions, facilities, and structures in the municipality.
