Mayor Angeles vows to fund women’s rights group projects
Tarlac City Mayor Cristy Angeles on July 17 has vowed to give voice to women in the city government.
The Tarlac politiko, in his speech during the Kaisa Women’s Organization (KWO) meeting, said she will support the funding of the group.
The KWO is planning to implement livelihood programs for several cooperatives.
Angeles promised to train the group’s members in waterlily handicraft weaving, veggie-noodle making, and food processing.
KWO aims to boost livelihood opportunities for women and promote women’s rights.
