Police in Masantol town in Pampanga province have launched an investigation into the missing thuribles of the Saint Michael The Archangel Parish.

According to Maj. Brilliant Manlutac, chief of police here, the local police will work hard to identify the culprits in the church burglary.

In a Sun Star Pampanga report, he said the church theft was an isolated case for the municipality, even as he warned the church community to be careful.

The missing liturgical tools are considered collector’s items and can easily be disposed at high value in antique stores, Manlutac said.

He disclosed CCTV cameras around the church premises were not functioning when the incident happened.
