Magalang officials launch heritage mapping project

Town officials of Magalang, Pampanga province are committed to preserving the municipality’s historic treasures.
A report from SunStar Pampanga revealed that the municipal government of Magalang will carry out a cultural mapping project that aims to record built heritage and intangible heritage spots in the old town.
One of the famous historical sites in the town is the San Agustin Chapel.
Magalang Mayor Malu Paras Lacson and Vice Mayor Norman Lacson joined councilors, public school teachers and the municipal tourism officer during launch of the heritage mapping project last Thursday.
