Madrid thoughts: Geraldine Roman is thinking of bringing this recycling practice to the Philippines

Oct 30, 2019 @ 12:14

Bataan first district representative Geraldine Roman is never on vacation.

The congresswoman may be in Madrid, but for someone who lives and breathes public service, everything in sight instantly becomes a viable project to bring to the Philippines. She was park hopping one particular day and noticed that many Madrid parks have recycling stations with compartments for paper, glass, old small appliances, used batteries, and the like. She is in love with the scheme and can’t help imagining the Philippines with similar recycling efforts.

“Kaya nga lang kailangan disiplinado ang mga mamamayan. Sa ating bansa, kaya ba?” she asked her Facebook followers with a challenging tone.
