Macabebe, LTO offer free driving courses to residents

The municipal government of Macabebe in Pampanga has partnered with the Land Transportation Office (LTO) to offer free driving courses and education to residents.
According to a Sun Star Pampanga report, the two-day activity will offer Theoretical Driving Course (TDC) for student permit applicants, and Comprehensive Driver’s Education (CDE) for those who are renewing their professional and non-professional driver’s license.
The LTO requires all applicants of student-driver permits to undergo the 15-hour TDC, while Section 3 of Republic Act 10930 mandates all driver’s license holders to take refresher seminars and exams, or the CDE.
The activity will be held on June 20 and 21 at the Macabebe Hidden Paradise Training Center Gymnasium in Barangay San Francisco, according to the report.
