Mabalacat promotes online jobs to targeted residents
The city government of Mabalacat in Pampanga has pushed for the promotion of online jobs in the countryside.
The city government’s Management Information System Office, led by Carlo Aurelio, in partnership with the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), held a Rural Impact Sourcing Workshop Wednesday at Jade Hall, Xevera Lot Only, in Brgy. Tabun.
Themed “Promoting Online Jobs in the Countryside,” the participants in the activity include ICT students, persons with disability (PWDs), senior Citizens and out of school youth.
The activity aimed to introduce the participants to various digital career platforms.
Also discussed in the event were the different online job platforms and the how-tos of working in the digital space.
