The Mabalacat City government, after a two-year hiatus, is preparing for a livelier celebration of the Christmas season.
The city is set to launch the “Mabalacat City Christmas Village: Margarbong Crismas 2022,” which aims to remind residents of the importance of sharing the joyful occasion with their loved ones.
The Mabalacat City Christmas Village will feature various Christmas attractions, carnival rides, concerts, and food bazaars.
The village will be set on a 1.3-hectare land beside the San Rafael Church along MacArthur Highway in Barangay Mabiga.
The theme park will open in December and admission is free for everyone.
Mabalacat City Mayor Crisostomo Garbo, along with Vice Mayor Gerald Aquino and the members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod, hopes to uplift the spirit of Christmas despite the downturns by the global pandemic.
“This will also highlight the resiliency of the Mabalaquenians during the recent calamities that hit the city,” said Garbo.
