Long queues for Pfizer vaccines in Bataan province
Hundreds of residents hoping to get the Pfizer jabs lined up at Covid-19 vaccination sites in Bataan province, according to a Philippine News Agency report.
The report observed that the queue started as early as 4 a.m. at the Lou-is Resort and Capitol Square mall, the designated vaccination areas for Balanga City residents, and the Bataan People’s Center, which is dedicated for residents of 11 Bataan towns.
Provincial Health Office (PHO) chief Dr. Rosanna Buccahan said she was surprised by the big number of people who lined up at the vaccination centers.
The Department of Health delivered 7,020 doses of Pfizer to the PHO and 1,742 to the Balanga City Health Office last Monday.
The PNA report quoted a Balanga nurse as saying that the queue at the Lou-is Resort was unusually longer compared to the days before.
