Limay to enforce color-coding scheme for fishing boats

The Limay Municipal Council has approved a color-coding scheme for the 1,300 fishing boats in the municipality.
Limay Vice Mayor Obet Roque said all fishing boats in the municipality will be painted blue for easier identification.
The Bataan politiko added the boats will also have a “coded stripe” to indicate their barangay of origin.
The color-coding scheme is intended to help identify the boats coming from Limay.
Roque said this will also help the municipal government identify outsiders engaging illegal fishing in the municipality’s waters.#
