Lazatin wants all Angeles residents vaccinated
Angeles City Mayor Carmelo Lazatin Jr. urged officials of the city government to exhaust all efforts to ensure that all 411,634 residents would be inoculated against the coronavirus.
“Prayoridad natin ang seguraduhin ang kalusugan at kaligtasan ng bawat Angeleno laban sa Covid-19, at magagawa lamang natin ito kung mapapabakunahan natin lahat ng residente dito,” the mayor said in a Sun Star Pampanga report.
Following Lazatin’s call, the city’s health officials led by Rafael Lazatin Memorial Medical Center (RLMMC) Officer-in-Charge Dr. Froilan Canlas and City Health Officer Dr. Verona Guevarra, sought the public’s support for the vaccination drive.
“This is the start of the end of the pandemic,” Canlas was quoted as saying in the report.
“Huwag kayong makisama sa problema, maging part kayo ng solution. The only way to do that is magpabakuna kayo,” he added.
