Lazatin appeals to Angeles residents to observe self-discipline
Angeles City Mayor Carmelo Lazatin Jr. has reiterated his appeal to city residents to observe self-discipline to help curb the the spread of the Covid-19 virus.
The city logged 96 new cases of Covid-19 on Wednesday, alarming officials.
“Dapat po natin pairalin ang disiplina para hindi tayo mahawaan ng Covid-19 (virus),” Lazatin was quoted as saying in a Sun Star Pampanga report.
The total number of active Covid-19 cases was at 1,448 as of Wednesday, the report said.
Based on figures from the city health office, there were three new Covid-19 deaths in Angeles City.
The city has logged a total of 10,843 Covid-19 cases with 445 deaths.
