Residents of Lubao town in Pampanga province benefited from a medical mission organized by the provincial capitol, with hundreds of Bantay Bayan, purok leaders, and municipal officials undergoing free medical screening and consultation at the Lubao Gym.
The medical mission was made possible by the Alagang Nay Preventive Health Care Program of Pampanga Governor Dennis Pineda, Vice Governor Lilia Pineda, and the Pampanga Provincial Board.
The project was in partnership with several doctors and nurses from the Provincial Health Office and district hospitals, officials said.
A total of 344 Pampanga residents were provided with free medical services, including free medicine, consultation, and relief packs.
Patients who required urgent treatment and surgery were also scheduled for follow-up care at district and private hospitals in the province.
The medical mission, according to officials, is a clear indication of the provincial government’s commitment to provide accessible and affordable healthcare to its constituents.
