Here’s how you accept defeat, according to Baler Mayor Bihasa
While there was a downpour of thank yous for election victories, there were also thank yous that came from the losing pool.
Before officially leaving his post on June, outgoing Baler Mayor Pilot Bihasa left a parting message on Facebook for his beloved constituents:
[I want to thank each Balerenyo who supported our group. Everyone who was with us during the campaign, from the youngest to the eldest. My relatives, colleagues, and everyone who believed in my capability.
As Mayor of Baler, I congratulate everyone who won. Even though I didn’t win, I hope that everyone will come together and accept the results with humilty and gratitude to God]
Well, that’s how to say a goodbye. What a graceful way to leave your post, Mayor Bihasa!
