Guv Alvarado grateful as Bulacan spared ‘Nina’s’ worse
Governor Wilhelmino M. Sy-Alvarado on Monday, December 26, expressed relief that Bulacan, for the second time this year, was spared from the wrath Typhoon “Nina”.
Aside from a morning drizzle with slight strong winds, “Nina” passed Bulacan without any ferocity.
By 12 noon, the politiko, who was monitoring the track of “Nina” at the Emergency Operation Center of the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO), said Bulakenyos were once again spared from devastation as no untoward incident relating to the typhoon was recorded.
Last October, Bulacan was also spared from the fury of typhoon “Lawin,” he said.
