House Committee on Women and Gender Equality chairperson and Bataan Rep. Geraldine Roman shares the secret for her glowing skin and youthful look.
“Mahilig ako sa gulay. Gulay is life!” said Roman Roman in an interview with Aksyon Radyo Pangasinan.
Roman said whenever she visits Pangasinan, she would always buy produce by the farmers.
“Mga kabataan, please naman kumain kayo ng gulay kasi sa totoo lang, ito ang magpapahaba ng inyong buhay, magpapaganda sa inyong skin, and of course, ito ang magbibigay sa inyo ng mga necessary vitamins para maging malakas tayo,” the lady solon said.
Aside from eating vegetables, Roman also stressed the importance of regular exercise and having a positive outlook in life.
“Pero kung ang iyong pananaw sa buhay ay (parang) bata, energetic, excited ka sa mga possibilities sa buhay natin, edi syempre, (magiging mukhang) bata ka na nga,” she added.
Roman went to Pangasinan recently to conduct consultations to further improve her measures that would benefit the agricultural and transportation sectors and the welfare of barangay health workers.
