Gov. Pineda leads unveiling of P17.8M Agripreneurship building in PSAU
Pampanga Governor Lilia Pineda has led the inauguration and turnover of P17.8-million Agripreneurship building to Pampanga State Agricultural University (PSAU).
The event coincided with PSAU Thanksgiving Day celebration on July 30.
The structure, named as Governor Lilia “Nanay” G. Pineda Agripreneursip Building, built by RM Vitug Construction and supervised by the Provincial Engineer’s Office, amounted to P17,794,567.01.
Pineda, in a speech, said that the construction of new buildings in state universities and colleges was timely as more students are expected to enroll following the implementation of the free tuition law.
She also promised new facilities to compliment the new building and a service vehicle for the professors of PSAU.
University President Doctor Honorio Soriano Jr. thanked the governor for her support to PSAU.
He also said that the building will be a big part of their effort to achieve entrepreneurial agriculture as a driver for inclusive economic growth in the communities.
