Gov Pineda eyes privatization of public hospitals via PPP
Pampanga Governor Lilia Pineda is eyeing the privatization of provincial hospitals through public-private partnerships (PPP) to professionalize health services.
This after a seven-month-old baby died in one of Pampanga’s public hospitals in June.
The Pampanga politiko recently slammed the medical personnel of Escolastica Romero District Hospital because of the infant’s death.
Pineda said privatization will hopefully result in better medical services in public hospitals.
Pampanga has 11 district hospitals and one provincial health care facility.#
