The Pampanga provincial government, under Governor Lilia Pineda, has P30.67 million educational financial assistance to some 8,202 poor but deserving students in the province.
The lady politiko said this is part the provincial government’s continuing effort to uplift the lives of the Kapampangans through education.
Pineda on April 4 led the distribution of the educational financial aid wherein P10,000 were given each to 728 valedictorians and salutatorians; P5,000 each to the 487 first and second honorable mentions and P3,000 each to third and eighth honorable mentions.
“This program is not for our sake, but for each of you and your families. Education will be one of your treasures in life that will help you achieve progress from poverty. Take advantage of it,” the lady politiko said.
