Nueva Ecija first district representative Ging Suansing shared the good news for taxpayers.
After taking part in the recent virtual meeting of the Committee on Ways and Means, the congresswoman updated her Facebook followers that the tax amnesty for those who weren’t able to pay income tax, withholding tax, capital gains tax, donor’s tax, value added tax, percentage tax, excise tax, and documentary tax has been approved. Penalties, surcharge fees, and interests will be removed so that taxpayers won’t be burdened especially in this time that the Philippines has fallen into recession.
OFW Sovereign Funds bill was also passed by the committee to protect the remittances of OFWs.
Congresswoman Suansing was glad she participated in the house ruling.
