Bataan Governor Albert Garcia on Thursday sought to reassure his constituents that the provincial government was taking steps to be on top of the situation following reports that the new, more dangerous strain of the coronavirus had entered the country.

The governor reminded the public to follow health protocols to ensure the Covid-19 UK variant would not spread to Bataan.
