Garcia thanks Germany for flood-control project in Bataan hospital

Bataan Governor Albert Garcia has expressed his gratitude to the government of Germany for an ongoing project to turn a hospital located in Dinalupihan town flood-free.

“Nais ko pong ipaabot ang aking taos-pusong pasasalamat sa pamahalaan ng Germany at sa Flood Control Asia RS Corp. dahil sa kanilang isasagawang proyekto nang libre sa Jose C. Payumo Memorial District Hospital (JCPMDH) sa Dinalupihan na naglalayong gawing flood-free ang nasabing ospital,” he said in a Facebook post.

The governor said the German ambassador and the president of the flood control company paid him a visit on January 22.

“Kahapon, ika-22 ng Enero, kasama si Dinalupihan Mayor Gila Garcia ay personal tayong binisita nina German Ambassador to the Philippines H.E. Anke Reiffenstuel at Flood Control Asia RS Corp. President at CEO Dr. Andreas Klippe upang ilahad ang mga detalye patungkol sa proyekto kasunod ng paglagda ng Memorandum of Understanding at press conference,” Garcia said.

“Malaki po ang maitutulong ng makabagong teknolohiya na gagamitin sa proyektong ito sa ating Pamahalaang Panlalawigan sa paglutas sa mga pangunahing sanhi ng pagbaha lalo na sa mga baybaying lugar dito sa Bataan,” he said.
