Garcia distributes food packs to 9 Mariveles villages under hard lockdown
Residents of nine barangays in Mariveles town that are now under localized lockdown due to a surge in Covid-19 cases will not go hungry.
Bataan Gov. Albert Garcia announced the distribution of food packs to the affected villages in Mariveles following the spike in Covid-19 cases.
He said local officials were also intensifying contact tracing and testing efforts in Mariveles.
As of September 14, some 1,763 have tested positive for Covid-19 in Bataan, while 26 have died.
