Free internet cards distributed to Angeles students
The local government of Angeles City has begun distributing internet cards to public school students as a form of assistance during the pandemic.
Angeles City Mayor Carmelo Lazatin Jr. personally turned over the cards to learners in Grades 4 to 12.
“Sa pamamagitan ng mga internet learning cards na ito, magkakaroon sila ng dedicated access sa libreng internet, para mas maging stable ang connection nila kapag meron silang online classes, at mas mapadali ang kanilang pag-aaral,” the mayor said during the program.
A total of 5,404 internet cards were to be distributed, according to officials.
“Gusto nating magkaroon ng libre at maayos na internet connection ang mga estudyante at guro natin, para magamit nila sa kanilang digital education, lalo na ngayong panahon ng pandemya,” the mayor said.
