Fernando locks down Bulacan, orders curfew hours, checkpoints
Bulacan Governor Daniel Fernando has placed Bulacan province under new lockdown protocols, enforcing curfew hours and border checkpoints.
The governor issued Executive Order No. 8 series of 2021 with instructions on the new health and safety guidelines amid the surge in Covid-19 infections.
Curfew hours will be imposed from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m., except for workers with proper documentation.
Border checkpoints will begin again, according to the order.
A province-wide liquor ban will be in effect until April 17, the order said.
The public is also required to wear face masks and face shields, and observe social distancing.
Fernando urged the Philippine National Police, the Armed Forces of the Philippines, and law enforcement units to ensure public compliance.
