Fernando joins Go in relief ops in Calumpit and Marilao

Bulacan Governor Daniel Fernando joined Senator Bong Go on Friday in distributing food packs and other relief items to families hit by Typhoon “Ulysses” in Calumpit and Marilao towns in Bulacan.
A total of 606 families received groceries, food packs, vitamins, face masks and face shields during the operation with Calumpit Mayor Jessie de Jesus and Marilao Mayor Ricardo Silvestre.
Also present were Department of Social Welfare and Development Undersecretary Aimee Neri, Bulacan Vice Governor Wilhelmino Sy-Alvarado, Bulacan Rep. Jonathan Sy-Alvarado, and Board Members Allan Andan and Alex Castro.
“Nagpapasalamat po kami sa tulong na ibinigay ng Pamahalaang Nasyonal dahil ito pong panahon na ito ay talagang napakaraming pagsubok ang dumaan sa atin,” Fernando said.
“Sa mga kababayan ko, lagi po tayong magdasal at kami po sa Pamahalaang Panlalawigan ay patuloy na mag-iisip ng paraan upang mas makatulong sa aming nasasakupan,” he said.
