Bulacan Gov. Daniel Fernando led the ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the inauguration of the Bulacan Infection Control Center for Covid-19 patients on Friday.
The new Covid-19 center is located at the compound of the Bulacan Medical Center in Malolos City.
The center is house in the three-story extension building of Bulacan Medical Center that will serve as a centralized quarantine center facility for Covid-19 patients.
It is now ready to receive Covid-19 patients, according to officials.
The building has a capacity of 250 but only 100 Covid-19 patients will be accommodated at any given time.
The third floor of the building will be for patients with medium case, suspect, probable and confirmed case of Covid-19, while the second floor is for patients in severe and critical condition. There are 10 beds in the Intensive Care Units and four dialysis machines.
The Emergency Room, Triage, X-ray and Laboratory are located on the first floor.
