Fernando calls on Bulacan folk to get booster shots
Bulacan Governor Daniel Fernando on Wednesday called on his constituents to get their booster shots amid a new upswing in COVID-19 cases.
The governor said that while the increase was not as significant as other provinces, residents should not be complacent.
In a report, Provincial Health Officer Hjordis Marushka Celis said the provincial government has administered a total of 5.7 million vaccines.
That means 82.63 percent of the eligible population in Bulacan is now fully vaccinated with more than 600,000 receiving booster shots.
