Bulacan Gov. Daniel Fernando has made a public appeal to stop discrimination against people who are suspected of Covid-19 or those previously considered to be PUIs (persons under investigation).

He said they deserve sympathy and respect, not unkindness.

He said he learned that PUIs were receiving ill treatment and unkind words from their neighbors in their communities.

We Fight As One, We Heal As One,” he said.
