Ex-pres. Arroyo imparts tourism best practices in Pampanga workshop
Former President and Pampanga Representative Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo has shared her thoughts on how to further boost the tourism industry in her province.
Arroyo joined representatives from the Department of Tourism (DOT), Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (PDRRMC) and the provincial government of Pampanga in a tourism workshop.
During the seminar, Arroyo told the participants what could be the “best practices” in the tourism industry.
The workshop was conducted as the government has closed Boracay island in Malay, Aklan to tourists for six months to pave way for its rehabilitation.
DOT Central Luzon previously asked travel agencies and tour operators to promote and sell tour packages in the region amid Boracay closure.
