DTI-Bataan teaches Morong farmers to process cashew products

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Bataan recently conducted a skills training on cashew processing in Barangay Mabayo in Morong to maximize the abundance of cashew trees in the area.
The project aimed to help the local farmers start their own businesses in cashew processing.
DTI-Bataan taught the farmers how to process cashew products like cashew nuts, butter, prunes, and wine.
They were also given assistance on labeling and packaging design of their finished products.
Cashew trees are abundant in Morong, growing alongside roadsides and in forests of the municipality.
