Dingalan Mayor Shierwin Taay is appalled by the current system, policies, and laws revolving around the social pension for senior citizens. Most lolos and lolas find it hard to look for a subsidy or help from the government, or in most cases, the payout is always delayed.
The mayor couldn’t just watch in one corner and do nothing. He released a video interviewing some senior citizens about their experience, with most answers bordering frustrated. He hopes that the video clip will reach the national government to solve this perplexing problem.
