Dinalungan woman’s group receives P423K worth of farm inputs

Farm inputs costing around P423,000 were received by a women’s group in Barangay Paleg, Dinalungan town in Aurora from the Department of Labor and Employment and the provincial government, according to a Philippine Information Agency report.
The report said the beneficiaries, who are members of Samahan ng mga Kababaihang Igorot, received pesticides, fertilizers, sprayers and other farming equipment.
Aurora Vice Governor Christian Noveras “encouraged the women to enrich the farm inputs which will be used as the main capital to the business of their choice,” the report said.
“Work together in developing and growing the assistance given to you. Do not let this opportunity go to waste,” he was quoted as saying.
Noveras also cited the other assistance offered by the provincial government including free medical services and free consultation on legal advice.
