Did you read just the headline before sharing something online?
Chances are, you were sharing “fake news,” according to a public service reminder posted by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG)-Central Luzon.
In a Facebook graphic posted on by DILG-Central Luzon’s Monitoring and Evaluation Division, officials warned social media users to be careful in sharing information online, especially amid the proliferation of false or misleading reports during the Covid-19 pandemic.
“Binasa ko ba ng buo?” it said.
The reminder ended with the hashtag #NoToFakeNews.
