Newly-installed Clark Development Corporation president and CEO Agnes Devanadera is looking for ways to boost “ease of doing business” in Clark Freeport.
According to the official, she intends to review business processes at the freeport, including the application for permits as well as other local government units around Clark.
“It takes a long time before we could process permits and licenses. In other countries, everything is automated,” she told Pampanga media on September 23.
“The thrust now internally of Clark is to review these processes and automate as much as we can,” she was quoted as saying in a Sun Star Pampanga report.
“We will try to do away with human intervention to make processes faster,” she added.
Devanadera also said business application forms should be downloadable and will be made available at one-stop-shops in shopping malls.
